Moscow investigates the possibility of US involvement in terrorist incidents in Russia 0

(Dan Tri) – Russia has opened an investigation into accusations that Ukraine and Western countries are involved in terrorist activities on Russian territory.

On April 1, the Russian Investigative Committee announced that it was conducting a procedural investigation after reviewing initial allegations that the United States and its allies had carried out a series of attacks on Russian territory.

The Russian Investigative Committee is looking into the purpose of `organizing, financing and carrying out terrorist acts` by the US and its allies, including Ukraine.

Nikolay Kharitonov, one of the parliamentarians who made the initial accusations, emphasized that Western countries `benefited` from the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall theater in Moscow earlier this month.

Basmanny District Court on April 1 announced that a 10th suspect had been arrested in connection with the terrorist attack at the Crocus City theater.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, a few days before the Crocus attack, Yusufzoda allegedly transferred money to one of the suspects to provide accommodation for terrorists.

Local media cited case files saying Yusufzoda was born in 1998, has a wife and three children.

On March 31, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) also arrested four suspects in the Dagestan region, who were accused of having a role in financing and providing equipment for the terrorist attack at the Crocus theater.

The Basmanny court had previously approved the arrest of four men believed to have carried out the attack, as well as five others accused of supporting terrorists by providing them with money, a

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko confirmed last week that at least 144 people, including three children, were killed in the attack.

Moscow suspects Ukraine and the US are involved in the theater terrorist attack.
