(Dan Tri) – Nguyen Cao Minh Anh shared the story of his congenital hormone disorder, causing emotion at a model selection session for a fashion show.
Despite the cold below 10 degrees Celsius in Hanoi, more than 300 models still participated in the selection for the fashion show Wishing for a Sacred Place.

Among the contestants participating in the selection session, notably model Nguyen Cao Minh Anh (born 2002) in Hanoi.
Minh Anh started working as a freelance model at the end of 2021. Before participating in this selection, she participated in a number of fashion shows by domestic designers.
The female model shared that she suffered from a congenital hormone disorder.
Minh Anh began treatment and for 3 years was injected with male hormones every week.
She said: `It was a really crisis time for me, because hormone injections would make the body tired and weak both physically and mentally. I had a period of depression because I couldn’t know myself.
According to Minh Anh, her mother once advised her child to stop taking hormone injections. No matter what she did, her parents still accepted it, as long as the child was healthy.
`From that moment, I realized that as long as my parents believe and love me, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says. From then on, I accepted that I’m different because I’m special.`
Minh Anh also said that sharing her story publicly could greatly affect her life and work.
Touched by Minh Anh’s story, designer Thach Linh decided to give this 22-year-old model a golden ticket, special admission to the next round, to perform with a group of famous beauty queens and supermodels.
Designer Thach Linh said that a total of 5 contestants were given golden tickets and 1 of those 5 contestants will be chosen to perform in an important position in the fashion show.

Wishing for a sacred place brings together many designers as well as models from all over the world.
