Accordingly, streaks of black smoke on the runway and firefighting foam around the plane showed that a fire had occurred with the Tu-95MS bomber.
Defense Express website confirmed that the above fire occurred after Ukrainian suicide UAVs attacked Engels air base on December 5.
Previously, in a statement released on December 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused Ukrainian army UAVs of attacking two air bases Dyagilyaevo in the Ryazan region and Engels in the Saratov region of Russia.
Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on the above allegations.
